Our Wedding

The year was 2019, and both Max and Jordan moved into a mutual pal's house, lovingly called the "Beaver Lodge", in the hills north of Whitefish, Montana. Max was the guy who lived in his camper in the yard, and Jordan was renting a room and working in town. They were fast friends, and shared a ton of memories and laughs living with three of their closest friends through the weirdly-wild-times of the pandemic and the subsequent winters in the Montana mountains.Through many adventures, smiles, tears, and miles on the trails &amp; road, they decided that this life feels happier together. Max brings the wild-eyed, foot-on-the-gas energetic joy to life which keeps their eyes on the next adventure, and Jordan brings the warm-your-bones, eat-your-soup-humor which keeps our feet on the ground and warmed-up by the fire.********A pretty good match if you ask us. :)So, we're making it official, and saying the easiest "hell yes" ever to each other in front of our families and closest humans. <a href="iflyglacier.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Glacier Park International Airport </a>(FCA) in Kalispell is the closest airport to our venue. Want to take a train? <a href="https://www.amtrak.com/stations/wfh" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Amtrak</a> trains also have a stop in Whitefish, from the Empire Builder Route.

To our more local friends who plan on driving: If you are interested in carpooling with other people coming to the wedding, check-in with us and we can connect you if we have other guests coming from your neck of the woods!

Can we stay overnight at the venue? 🏔️🏨

Wedding Party &amp; Immediate Family: let us know if you are not sure what's happening :) For the rest of our guests, we can accommodate some tent and RV camping at the venue for Friday and Saturday, please let us know if you are interested in a parking or camping spot on the property. Campers will have access to shared bathroom and shower spaces in the bunk house. Montana Cocktail: Think cocktail attire with a laid‑back mountain twist. Dressy but comfortable — cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, sport coats or blazers, and nice shoes that can handle a bit of gravel. Late‑September in Whitefish can be chilly, so please bring a warm layer (coat, shawl, or sweater). Keep it polished; leave casual shorts or jorts for after the reception (lookin' at you, Rocky!)

Max and Brett have been friends since they realized they both liked snowboarding despite both being from the prairie of North Dakota! Since then, they have spent their days in pursuit of the deepest snow and vibey-est music.

Amanda has known Jord since, well, the beginning. Amanda is not only a sister to Jord, but a best friend. From Matcha to matters of the heart, Amanda is one of Jord's biggest supports.

Austin and Max met at Big Sky Ski Resort, after Austin impressed Max by front-flipping off a cornice (for the record, he didn't land it). They've been going big together ever since! 

Austin Crisp

Jord and this Emily went from "Fish-Faces" to greatest-pals during grad school at University of Montana (their masters degrees are in Nervous Sweat). Emily and Jord both really, really like "good soup".

Chainsaws and the Big Trees of the Pacific Northwest are what brought Xander and Max together, and trail work is the glue that will bind them forever (even if not at the US Forest Service).

Where do we begin when there's another Jordan afoot?! Jordan and Jordan have been same-named besties for many years now. Boy Jordan is an accomplished Magician, ask him to do a trick!

Ayme and Jord met while working in mental health in Montana. As their tarot cards predicted, they became thick as thieves. Ayme and Jord lived together in Whitefish, and Jord ended up connecting to the Beaver Lodge through Ayme. 🤝

Ayme Krogstad

Zack and Max have been friends since they legally sold firearms together. They soon began hunting together and chasing elk, deer, and pheasants ever since!
